Have a drop of the fine stuff at the world’s oldest licensed distillery. Honing skills at the distillery for over 400 years, Bushmills has been producing the unique and fine malt whiskey since 1608.

Located on the beautiful North coast of Antrim, the Bushmills distillery is situated on the outskirts of the small village which lends its name to the brand.

Bushmills distillery was first given a licence to distil whiskey by King James 1st.  They have continued to produce whiskey on the same site, from the same stream, using their own barley, for the last 400 years.

Bushmills distillery produces five award-winning whiskeys: Bushmills Original, Black Bush, Bushmills 10 Year Single Malt, Bushmills 16 Year Single Malt and Bushmills 21 Year Single Malt.

Visitors to the world famous distillery can tour the site, seeing first-hand how whiskey has been made and matured there for the last 400 years. The guided tour includes a fun and informative talk on the history and distilling process, and an up close look at the copper potstills used in the unique triple distillation process, which creates the uniquely smooth Bushmills taste.

There is an opportunity to sample famous Bushmills whiskey or enjoy a soft drink in the 1608 bar.
